Couple Arrested in Franklin County on Theft and Other Charges

A man and woman were charged with theft and other charges early Monday morning in Franklin County.

A 32-year-old man is in the Franklin County jail charged with theft of property and unlawful possession of a weapon by a violent felon. Demarko Peoples was arrested about 1:20 Monday morning and booked into the jail. He is being held on 100-thousand-dollar bond.

A 34-year-old woman is free on 15-thousand dollars bond after being charged with theft of property. Sharaine Peoples was booked into the Franklin County jail about 1:20 Monday morning and released on bond about two hours later.
