Following heavy rain across southern middle Tennessee over the weekend minor flooding became an issue along with the icing and cold temperatures. The ELK River crested at 11:30 last night just above Action flood stage at 14.58 feet. At 5:15 am Monday, the USGS rive gauge on Eldad Road shows the river at 13.48 feet, just below the 14 foot Action flood stage.
