A heat advisory remains in effect through 8 o’clock tonight with even hotter heat indices that yesterday. The National Weather Service in Huntsville says the heat index could reach 109 degrees this afternoon. If possible, limit outdoor activity, drink plenty of fluids and wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing.
Heat Advisory Extended Through Saturday September 19th
The high heat indices will continue into the weekend.
Franklin County House Fire Claims One Life
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was called to assist Franklin County Sheriff’s Investigators looking into a fatal house fire that happened early Monday morning.
A two vehicle accident Saturday afternoon on Highway 110 near Taft claimed the life of a 51-year-old man.
