Lincoln County first responders trained this weekend in high water/ swift water rescue.
Thank you to the first responders who participated in 20 hours of High Water/Fast Water Training this weekend taught by Rescue Technical Specialties out of South Carolina. This class provides the skill sets required for a high water/fast water technical rescue. Lincoln County has the ability to respond to water rescue incidents with five motor powered boats mainly designed for our water ways and one technical rescue raft that is non-motorized. We also have some of our members who are certified divers.
