As I reported to you yesterday, volunteers with Lincoln County Fire/rescue and deputies from the Lincoln county Sheriff’s Department responded to a house fire, on Dentford Drive in the Howell Hill Community Sunday night. When firefighters arrived, the resident had extinguished the blaze. Following an investigation, deputies arrested 40-year-old Lawrence Jones on charges of aggravated arson, aggravated domestic assault, driving while license revoked, joyriding-unauthorized use of a vehicle. Jones was booked into the Lincoln county jail at 1:37 Monday morning and is being held on bonds totaling 42-thousand dollars.
