This is National Police Week
This is National Police Week. Join us in honoring the brave men and women of law enforcement who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities. These brave men and woman see unspeakable things and frequently see people at their worst. They are trained to remain calm but get control of the situation, whatever it may be and see to the safety of those around them. Most people cannot fathom what these brave souls feel after a day on the streets. They have very few people they can talk to about their feelings because unless you’ve been there you cannot understand what they feel and unfortunately they seldom feel appreciated for what they do and the sacrifices they make. If you have an opportunity this week anytime you see an officer, thank them for the job they do and make sure they know you appreciate them.
