The Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy will hold firearms instructor training classes in Lincoln County.
The Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy will be utilizing the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department gun range for a firearms instructors training school this week. The Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy chose Lincoln County because of the work Sheriff Tull Malone and his staff have put into developing a updated, modern firearms range for law enforcement certification. The new range is used only for law enforcement certification and is no longer located behind the jail where the public gun range is located.
