Volunteers with Lincoln County Fire/rescue responded to a house fire, just after 10 o’clock last night. The house was located on Dentford Drive in the Howell Hill Community. When firefighters arrived the resident had extinguished the blaze. Lincoln County Fire Chief and EMA Director Doug Campbell said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
