Flood Watch in Effect Until 8 p.m. Monday 06/08/26

The National Weather Service office in Huntsville has issued a flood watch that remains in effect through this evening. All of Lincoln, Moore, and Franklin Counties are included  in this watch area. The National Weather Service in Nashville issued a flood watch for Giles County until 8 pm tonight. Excessive runoff from the torrential rains may result in continued flooding a lakes, rivers, streams and low lying areas. Stay tuned throughout the day, I’ll keep you informed of developing flooding situations. Right now the worst of the problem remains in Madison and Jackson Counties in Alabama. Last night Limestone county deputies were reporting A portion of Mooresville Road between Pepper Road and Nick Davis Road was closed due to downed power lines.
