A 16-year-old girl from Cornersville Middle Schools in trouble after tackling a football player on the field during a game in Franklin County.
A 16-year-old girl from Cornersville Middle Schools in trouble after tackling a football player on the field during a game in Franklin County Tuesday night between South Middle School and Cornersville Middle School. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said the girl was a fan who got too caught up in the game, ran onto the field and tackled the player. The referees immediately ended the game and cleared the field. The girl was charged with assault and disorderly conduct and released to her parents. T-Double S-Double A has banned her from all Cornerville games, both home and away for one year.
